An Overview of DaveZillion
Company Overview
DaveZillion's mission is to connect people who can help each other get things done. In today's world of two-income families and ever growing workdays, the small chores and tasks that are so vital to the upkeep of our homes and comfort are getting harder and harder to fit in.
We've all had the experience of waiting for weeks or months to finish a project that should take just minutes to accomplish if only an extra set of hands were around to help out. Tasks like moving a heavy piece of furniture, installing a new flat-screen television, cutting down an old tree, hooking up your surround sound, or painting the garage are either going unfinished or causing people to hire costly professionals.
It doesn't have to be this way. DaveZillion helps you improve your life by connecting you with other people in your area so that you can get stuff done. The premise of the site is simple - DaveZillion uses an online networking platform to link members in similar geographic areas with others looking for help with a project. By helping someone else, a member can get the help he or she needs to tackle their own project. And the more our members use DaveZillion, the better it works because they can build a trusted network of people who they can go to in their time of need.
DaveZillion also recognizes that not all projects can be finished with an extra set of hands. Sometimes our members need professional know-how. Through our Premier Service, members can choose to post jobs to contractors, moonlighters, and other professionals in the DaveZillion network. If a professional does a good job, the DaveZillion member can recommend him or her to everyone in their network.
Everyone has had that moment where they just needed a little help but did not know where to go to get it. DaveZillion, the first and only online community dedicated to linking people to get stuff done, solves that problem.
